Happy New year

At the start of the year, we are all writing a new chapter in book of life. How you write depends on your passion, dedication and commitment to prevailing over challenges. When the rain falls, it cleans and washes away negative energy. In nature, rain wipes away debris on the streets, dams, lakes and oceans alike. Find your rain and let it refresh your world with new positive energy. No matter how many times you have re-written your book, tell yourself that it’s a new day, change is nigh and there will be progress. Life is a race, do you know what kind of race you are running? If it is a marathon, do you have the endurance to complete it? If it is a sprint, do you have that aerodynamics and fitness needed to withstand the opposing winds? Maybe you are running a relay, but do you know who your partners are? And do you have the skills to pass the baton while running at top speed? Whether you win your race or lose it, learn something from the experience and file it away in your book of life. Be ever ready

Arriving at a new destination can be a challenge if you are not prepared for what may lie ahead. This may cost you time and energy, sometimes it may throw you out of focus. Always brace and prepare yourself ahead of time, establish a stronger and balanced internal and physical base. This way no matter what may fall your way, guess what? you will be able to gentle bend, pick it up and throw it to the side of the road. And your journey to finding your antennas and stability will continue. Stay prepared and not depend on surprises, or else you will be the one perplexed by the unknown.Be you and i be me.

You are worth

Value and remind yourself everyday that you are worth more than anything in this world. Wether you sleep out on the street, went to bed without eating a proper dinner or you are sick to the grave. Guess what? You are still priceless. What you are and what you bring to this world is irreplaceable. No- one can posses the qualities you share and show. Remember, there is only one you and that makes you special and unique. Value yourself and never use momentary value. Money has no effect on your worthy. Be you and I be me.

Madiba

Do we mourn or do we share a smile that we all can acknowledge?. It is a smile that has a deeper meaning behind it. The passing of Nelson Mandela does not come as a surprise, why? because the man has fought the illness for a very long time. The prayers from South Africans and from many around the world were heard and Mandela continued to live on after the global scare that he was terminally ill. I always say "Life is for the living and living is for those that still walk on this earth". Mandela lived, walked, experienced, fought, taught, became an example to African and Western leaders. The people of South Africa gained wisdom in understanding that as people regardless of the skin color and race, we all can make this world a better place. As a South African, African and son of the soil. I say thank you, thank you, thank you Nelson Rholihlahla Mandela. I am saddened by his passing but my sadness is outweighed by joy and smiles,why because the old man lived a life no other man will ever live. He opened doors for all races in South Africa to embrace and appreciate being human and practicing humanity. All people of South Africa today may we recognize and understand that his life impacted not only Africans but the world at large. He death has opened another book that will be read for as long as we live. May his soul rest in peace and his legacy will never be forgotten. "Lala kahle Madiba"Be you and i be me.

Optimism

It's easy to get discouraged and loose hope. The moment that thought knocks we immediately tell ourselves that we can't do it anymore let alone try. What someone else is saying or doing let it not be a weapon against you, appreciate you and only you. Be you and I be me,

In progress

We are a work in progress, we are never finished with what we need in our lives to complete who we are. We are a never ending project, everyday we establish a different landscape, page, sketch, prototype and what ever best exemplifies the personality that best suits the being that you are. Some people completed their rough sketch while they were young, at this present moment what they are doing is constantly embellishing and modifying their life project with love and respect for man kind. This is not to say they are not a work in progress, they just have made their job easy. As for some they are now finding who they are, the project is more intense and bigger than the thought of finding who they are. Again, they will still make that prototype and put it to a test, being that its reality the prototype will undergo numerous and intense tests.The truth is, for the prototype to qualify it may take years if not lifelong tests. We are a work in progress, some are fortunate to understand the type of progress we achieve at an early age, while some come to grips with the whole progress way later,but that's not to say they can't make it work. Being that we are a work in progress, what it's going to take is capitalizing on time and space to come to grips with reality. We are a work in progress, never turn your back away from this project, either way you will still come back and face the same structure, model or whatever you are building or creating with your life. Best you create and allow time to determine if the pieces come together, as compared to leaving the project and start something else. As said the life project is a continuous endeavor that requires attention and perfection of self. Build yourself and create the person you need to be first, this is before you start creating and building another person. We are a work in progress and a progress in the making. Be you and I be me.

Challenges

Who are we without challenges, where can we be without being tested of our strengths?. Each day as it comes and goes we endure different obstacles, its these obstacles that determine and let us know if we are one with our mind body, spirit and soul. Do you run away or avoid challenges? truth of the matter is, you run away and the challenge becomes a problem, now you are dealing with a double jeopardy. This means you have to first succumb to the problem which now requires more mental strength and attention. Thereafter you need to face the challenge, but by now what is happening is that, the time used dealing with both the problem and the challenge has been compromised. Basically we need to face the challenges and continue on our path, think of it as 'Pac-Man' the game. The more the enemies change color the faster you become and you are able to squash them out. But watch out that they don't turn back to their original colors and start getting back at you. Everyday you wake up know that the game has just begun, its not until you close your eyes at night that you know if you have succeeded to go to the next stage. Though the everyday stages in reality can change during the course of the 12hours from when we go to sleep. But if you face every challenge like a champion and fight a winning battle, then you have zero worries except facing and dealing with negative attitudes. Test yourself and create challenges, face challenges and let challenges confront you. Be strong, focused, alert, aware, confident, accepting and above all if not most of all trust yourself. Mirroring

Stay warm and keep the smile on your face. Because the person you are today is the person you will see tomorrow and the day after when you look in the mirror. Today is a blessed day and tomorrow is another given day. Love, live, let and enjoy every minute of your existence. Because out there, somebody is mirroring the beauty and poise you posses. That one person lives and cares for you, more so inspired by your presence. We all have that one or two empty spaces in our lives, it's either we allow others to fill up those spaces with positive energy or we fill them ourselves by empowering and lifting ourselves up. Time moves slowly at times and swiftly at some moments. When we look back in our lives we always say" i remember the time when...". time plays a significant role. Time helps us identify moments and situations in our lives. Lets simply say time is our life-mark. The memories embedded in these time travels have nothing but memories to look back at and appreciate love and being loved by the people around us. Be wise to know that it's the simple things that change the atmosphere and environment. Be the change and the change will be you. Be you and I be me.

Reflecting

We are slowly but surely approaching the end of year, a lot has happened in our lives. Some moments have been good, sad, unexpected, surprises, heartbreaks to reunions. The list goes on and on, but the one thing that remains is that, each and every one of us has confronted a life changing moment within the last 10months. Many have had life changes due to these moments, wether for good or bad, the bottom line is that the alteration has come with its life lessons. The question at hand is, have you been a part of a life changing moment for somebody out there?. have you touched or shared through your kindness, humility and respect. A few of us have shared all of the above and more. As we wrap up the these two months, do your part and help someone as well as help look inside yourself and appreciate the giving individual that is in you. Like the song says 'We are the world, we are the children" we all know the song, yes we are children of this earth, mother earth smiles every day when we touch someone with positive energy. Change the world or be changed, Be you and i be me.

Esteem

If you lack self esteem and confidence in general, I am afraid you can't inherit that. You have to understand yourself and know who you are. Your presence should symbolize a strong and a healthy you. Don't be present just to belong or feel forced to fit in the picture. Have courage to stand by your word, your posture say and tells a lot about who you are. Stand tall and let your foot steps be as solid on the ground, the firmer the footprints the less the chances the rain will wash the footprints away.Be able to talk the walk and walk the talk yes Johnny Walker way...-:). In all be you and I be me. 1

Creativity"

Somebody once said " inspiration creates creativity, creativity creates a better life" funny I always finish my posts by saying " be the inspiration or be inspired". You never know how much life is good for you until you hit the walls. And from those walls it's when you will find out who comes to your rescue. But more so how you get back on your feet. Stay on your lane avoid things that don't need your presence, if the shoes don't fit don't wear them. Be the inspiration or be inspired. Be you and I be me.

Mind over matter

Discipline, control, consistency and will is what you need to practice patience. With patience as your weapon you are assured to graze through all the unnecessary negative stuff. Thus because you can stand back and look from outside before going in or dealing with a situation. Most of the times we try and apply patience while we are in the midst of a heated situation. 9 times out of 10 the execution is never going to be positive. Yes, some people have a good sense of control but this is because they have been practicing how and when to apply the patience. In general we need patience 24/7. Remember listening is a skill and hearing is natural, often times we say I am listening but yet we are answering what we are hearing. Be grateful for what you have because someone out there doesn't even have half or third of what you have. Be inspired or be the inspiration. Be you and i be me

The one essential and fundamental thing is, accepting who you are and where you come from. You cant deny your existence by wanting to attach yourself on something that is not and will never be. Embrace the beauty and acknowledge the inner peace that you have. Let that peace inside be the light that creates a spot light that only you and you alone can stand on. When you look yourself in the mirror what do you see? off course we have our own conclusions as to what we see. Be happy with your image, skin color and appearance. Yes we do work on our bodies to stay healthy and strong, with this our bodies will change to conform to whatever we are aspiring for. But, again But, we still should be happy of who we are, never dream of being someone else. Rest assure that other person is also wishing they were somebody else.This will relate to those that lack self esteem in themselves. Be proud of yourself, love the way you are, never wish to change anything about yourself at the expense of the society that is already delusion by commercialization. Pride in being different and unique. Be the inspiration or be inspired. Be you and i be me.

Break them

Who said you cant break the rules or change the game?. Just because you found it like that it certainly doesn't mean it will have to stay as is. Somebody out there will have to change it for the better and make a difference. You and i can make that change, don't doubt your powers and capabilities. Off course its not going to be overnight but with persistence and consistency change will avail. Like the saying goes" Rules were made to be broken". Okay! one will say Natty if its not broken why fix it?. For the most it does not need to be broken to be fixed. Simple idea of a fresh start and change builds moral and generates a conducive atmosphere. Never get too complacent to a point that you see no need to change one or two things in your life. Make the first leap and jump off that bridge and if you fall best you know how to swim. Be the change and the change will certainly be you. Be you and i be me

Always be

Being an overachiever is something we all need to strive for. Everyday of the week, we need to set our goals higher, at we may not achieve anything from that day. But a lesson will be learnt. Therefore when the next beautiful day comes, lessons learnt from the previous are executed . Hence the reason we need to at all times have all the fundamental tools needed for this life journey. Don't let the negative stray you off from your vision, because once again with this society, either rich or poor, black or white there is always going to be that one person who will destabilize your focus.Use their negative as a stepping stool to overcome their spite. You are the best, the baddest, smartest and above all you are you, be inspired not polarized, be creative and not a copycat more so be a realist. Be you and I be.

Thankful

Spirits are low and morals are below the half tank mark, some of us are going on reserve tank. Noooooo!! feel up that gas tank, the gas tank that is your mind,body and soul. Some of us use premium and others opt for regular or Unleaded, its up to you to choose which one works to your advantage. The price is different for each and the performance that it delivers is depended on how well you take care of your engine. But its all about what you drive and what makes your car drive smoothly. The car in this instance is your aura and whole being. As people we choose what fuel we use, we have the liberty to use fuel that may only allow our cars to move from point A to B, and this is indicative of just how we live our lives, living one day at a time. Others opt for high grade and this keeps their cars in good running form,this will be those that always aim high and set their standards higher. And they constantly have their gas tank on full. If you wake up in good spirits and balanced energy, nothing will stop you from going full on with life. Never will you find yourself stuck on the side of the express road just because you ran out of gas or your engine to died on you. Instead you will constantly check that gas meter and be reminded of when to fill up your body,mind and soul with energy.Remember the lower the gas is on your car, the higher the price when you refill. Some of us wait until its late to thank the powers that be for family, blessing and love. This is because we are not appreciative of the one and only important thing that is life. Lets wake up everyday in the morning and thank the powers that be for life, blessings, family and love. To avoid those engine breakdowns we need to use the best oil to lubricate the engines as it runs day in day out. Our body mind and soul save as the engine, using the blessings that have been given to you, take care of yourself and increase the life span of your engine no matter how many miles you clock on your car, if its taken good care of, the car will keep moving smoothly as new. As a human being you are no different from that car. Again for a long as you are thankful of life and family, you will always attract good blessing and positive love. In the words of Bob Marley " i woke up this morning, smile with the rising sun. Three little birds each by my door step, singing sweet songs of melodies pure and" we all know the rest of the lyrics... Remember be thankful of life and family but most of all be you and i be me.

Thoughts

Your destiny to succeed in life lies in your thoughts and perceptions, Don't wish to drive a nice car tomorrow when you have zero eggs to sell today. Focus on your goals based on what you have today. The tools you have and materials will determine what kind of goals you need to set for yourself. Off course this may change tomorrow, at least you will still have a base to work on and tools to use above all profit from the eggs in the basket. Yes whats in the basket saves as tomorrow's investment. So, like wise your thought process will help make you a better person, thus given the thought is mature and human. We are what we think and our actions give a conclusion of who we are as people. What we say cements what your personality is, your vocabulary and thought process is your investment. Your values and respect serve as your tools that will help you build or set up a steady base for who you need be, not WANT to be. Trust and believe in you, set goals based on what you can afford and more, stand by your word and say what you mean as well as mean what you say. Be you and i be me

Ignorance is a bliss

Don't take somebody else's kindness for a roller coaster ride. Don't ever think because somebody is quite and think that they are lame. As people we have this messed up thought process, should I say we are so easy to judge. Again this thing of using race and origin to degrade another person is a sign of being a coward. This is the second time within a space of two months that an idiot felt it was right for them to say what ever ish!! they want to say about me. I have heart one thing for sure I am not going to let one person out of all these more that 7billion people on earth make my day sour. Words hurt but one can also deflect the words and when the table turns around we all know it hurts the most. I have never in my life degraded any race by telling them to go back to their country and all that crazy stuff that comes with ignorance. I guess me writing this is my way of venting. I pride myself of my origin, skin color, ethnicity, image, style, literacy, my people above all who I am and who I will always be.I can not be let down one bygone, above all i know better not to be affected by ignorant people. I value people and i respect all kinds of race, but for someone to use use their origin and country of birth to make the next man feel like they are a piece of dirty is a shame. This is why i love the project i do with Dan Bloom on Madcap. "Inspiration with Natty"i find peace writing my thoughts, being in the studio with the one creative brother, recording and later listening to the end product. Why?because the world needs people to be united and respect one another. Anyway next time somebody degrades or tries to, just look and them and say 'I love me and i pride in me". If anything Natty is a citizen of the world. Be you and i be me.

Presence

Do you question your presence on this earth? should you question or do you just accept the fact that you are here and so let the good times roll. Well this can be arguable, or should i say justifiable.We all have a purpose on earth and in this time and space. Its up to us to figure out what our purpose besides living is, life is a given not a privilege. Help those that need your help, listen to those that seek your attentive ear, talk to those that lack guidance and guide those that need direction in life. You might not realize how much you mean to people around you, this is until you practice rather avail yourself in helping. Remember ego and pride sometimes fails us, we get so wrapped up in our bubble and forget that life can be a monster(Karma). Don't forget that this life as much as it was given ,it can also be taken away. Do what is right while you are still here and living on earth. Helping is a healthy drug, but again if not used right it can mess your mind set. Some people help to be seen, some help out of kindness. Sadly some feel forced to help, truth is that if you don't feel it inside you to help another being. Simple keep walking, but rest assure the next STOP sign will have one or two things that will save as a learning curve. Change

Be the change, create change, initiate,be the example of what change is. While you are sleeping somebody out there is making a change. Motivate yourself to stand out and be different. Never doubt your strengths and capabilities, while you are shying away from emerging out of the darkness with change, another living being is enjoying the fruits of accomplishing the change process. Make or create history, this world is full of souls that can make a great impact and transform this world. But if you stand aloof and expect change to come you, guess what? you will only enjoy the change made and created by others at all times. Be you and i be me.

Hope

Hope to me is 'Hitting obstacles with positive energy' .We need to at all times keep our eyes on the horizon. At times if all resources are exhausted, we are forced to look for something fresh and new, thats how we perceive it for the most.Sometimes we don't need to look for that something else. Instead we need to use what we have and make something out of it. Unfortunately society has been riveted to a one mind set mentality. That is never to be creative or preserve. We are only looking for new things and we exhaust them and keep looking for more newer things. The question is, what happens to all the remains that we have used? We pile them and at the end of the day we have a heap of useless dirty, at least that's what we call it. How does this relate to our personal lives? You and I know that we take time to bother about the unnecessary let alone have a place to store the negative energies that we absorb and attract in our everyday lives. Again,because we have been riveted to this mentality of blame and hate, we never find that peaceful moment to look inside ourselves and see what kind of trash we have. This trash fortunately can be recycled and used to help us wade off negative people and energies. But it's only when you are in a conscious state that you find and understand that, as a human being you can only strive through clean energy that involves good people, teachings, nurturing, understanding and above all keeping your hopes at their best level. Remember Hope stands for (hit obstacles with positive energy). Never allow that waste material which is hate, anger, blame and regret to mount up to something that you can't take control of. Yes you may be able to get rid of that heap of waste, but it will require a lot of mental strength. Invest time to turn the negative into something good, and off course what is not needed delete it from your brain and heart. Do you remember Madagascar the movie? The part I like is when the animals are jamming and dancing to the "I like to move it" song. That's how we should be and live, keep it moving and dance at the same time. Life is too short to pile up waste and leave no space for good things. Keep hope alight, be you and I be me.

Who you are reflects and glows an abundance of light and life, Yes it attracts those that share a great deal and quality of life that resonates joy. Your expression and posture tells it all. Despite all the downfalls you may be encountering, there is nothing like lifting rather picking up yourself and brushing off the dust. Stand tall and put on that genuine smile, remember you are not obligated to live life for someone. If anything a better way to say it will be, your life is yours to live. Its up to you if you want to be controlled in how you live your life. Should i mention its not only people that can control others, but the choices we make, and choices that later turn into a cage that we cage ourselves in. Whats your desire if not your wish for life? are you living because you were born or you are born to live?. As corny as the question may be, truth be told not everyone can give a straight forward answer. I repeat not everyone can dig deeper to find the answer to the question at hand. I am not here to question people's choices neither am i here to judge what people do. Like Morgan Heritage will say " Don't haffi dread to be Rasta". You do not have to have something to be somebody. Be you and i be me.

Friends

The meaning of friend is explained and shown in many ways. Through words, expression, deeds and gestures. Value the honesty of those that give from the heart and share with soul. Appreciate the presence of those that care and will at all times be protective and kind to you . This is because they know you share the same sentiments. We meet new friends everyday but none compare to the one/s that respect and love us regardless. Know your friends but most of all be the friend that they are to you. A friend listens and doesn't hear, a friend communicates instead of rumble. Do you know your friends, but most of all do they know you. It's easy to say YES,but that YES has to come with a lot of strong supporting elements. Never take advantage of your friends neither should you allow yourself to be used. Lets make a better world by being the good friends we are. Be you and I be me.

School is important

Is Africa in England? C'mon people I acknowledge not all of us are intelligent. But whatever happened to the so-called common sense. This one person who will remain unknown while I am writing this post, asked me if my accent was from England in Africa?. When I though they were done, they dropped another mass destruction statement. "Your accent sounds Russian"really!!! Somebody please help, at first I thought it was just illiteracy but it's ignorance. We can always blame the school system, family at home plays a upper hand in teaching their kids. At the end of it all the person finished by saying "I don't like Africans". Ok! Fine whatever your reason is, that's not shedding off any layer of pride in my melatonin. Besides I am looking at a black person making a fool out of themselves. Keep your hatred to yourself and believe you me I am not going to question you. It's your prerogative. While in Africa, South Africa to be specific. At school we were asked to study the world map. That meant knowing each country and it's capital city, official language and its president or prime minister. This exercise at school enhanced my knowledge rather my geographical awareness. Do you know how lame you sounds and look when you are blubbering BS!! You brag about being an American. Really!! But yet you are lacking a fundamental element in your life, and that is education. Indeed ignorance is a bliss , all I can do is look and keep moving. I am one of many educated Africans, I do pride my self of who i am and my hard earned success. As for my identity, I will value and treasure my being. Appreciate yourself and you will find it in your heart to value and appreciate others regardless of color, race or creed. School is important, reading is valuable. Have at least two friends who are smarter that you, trust me it helps. Don't let ignorance dictate your actions. And don't let actions tarnish your persona. Know that your personality and your vocabulary are representatives of who you are as human being.

Love

Love is the key to all doors, wether political, religious or social. Unfortunately society has mistaken love for something else. Something else like money or should I say lust. There is love everywhere and in every place. You know there is love whenever you are surrounded by positive vibes and energy. You know people have love if they look at you and genuinely smile and shake your hand firmly while looking at you straight up. While in South Africa I spent most of my time in Rooderport, Meadowlands, Alberton and Downtown Jorburg. What I found and experienced was nothing but love from strangers and those I know. It's love that keeps South Africans at peace, yes crime and corruption is evident. But people have learnt to surpass the negative with positive. The love I am expressing is not the intimate or physical. But I am talking love for one and those around. There is something about how South Africans engage in conversations, the versatility of language and style brings a vibrant and a powerful force. We trust but we give benefit of the doubt the room. Love for mankind is still the foundation for all. Do I find the love I am talking about here in the west? Maybe but again souls are depressed here in the west. i might be wrong but i l know I am right. Maybe it's all about people wanting things done for them. By wanting things sone for you one looses esteem and appreciation and for the most they loose touch of the greater picture in life. Love you for you, love the one/s around you. Respect and accept what's at hand but make change for yesterday and tomorrow. South Africa will at all times remain in my heart I am Africa and Africa is me. The polarized leadership thats creating differences and glorifying money in my country, has created a bridge between the have and have not. Fortunately the average South African is not phased by all this. They still work up with a smile and a golden expression. An expression that says I am happy to be alive and to be Africa. We are our own Buddha and peace we can create and maintain. Love we can restore and share with those we know as well as with strangers. Africa is rich not only of resources but rich of love and raw culture. Appreciate Africa and Africa will embrace you. Be you and I be.

A smile

A smile It relaxes your facial muscles releasing all the tension and rids off those invading wrinkles It's priceless, if executed well it heals and it connects souls. One thing about a smile is that it can't be faked. Yes some may think they can fake it. But why fake a smile, something that is so special and natural. Regardless of all the mayhem and total confusion, don't allow yourself to be swallowed by depression and negative energies. Your smile can change the world, but it will take you to change your world first. Be the example of what a smile can do. It's true not everyone who is everybody will welcome or accommodate your genuineness , don't be dissuaded you have all it takes to make the best of this life. Look around you and count how many people are smiling every minute of the hour, go ahead wether you are driving or in your office, look around. Sad faces yeah? People are sad and frustrated but this is not an excuse to not share something so powerful and magical. Share your smile because you are beautiful, handsome and special. Don't let that smile go to waste, fortunately it does not expire. But it can fade away with life and be gone for ever. Be you and I be me

My Africa

No matter how long i have been away from my homeland, i am constantly reminded of its greatness and beauty every time i step and set foot in African soils. Like the saying goes " there is no place like home", i agree a 110%.My South Africa is changing or should i say has changed from what it was when i left home 2001. The landscape has been transformed to something i never knew, more buildings that are occupied by the rich, and the have nots have been moved out to the townships and even further. Seeing this i was reminded of what is taking place presently in USA, take a look in Washington SE,NE, around Trinidad and Bennett Park area. The condos that are built every day and night,making room for those that have and can afford. The have not that have occupied the space for the past 20 years now they are pushed out like they never existed. This image seemed not to surprise me as South Africa is taking all these crazy ideas to separate rather make it known that the poor have no place in the city. Unemployment keeps soaring the skies, people are desperate and the politicians are constantly meeting with all these top notch individuals. Planning nothing but spending and making it look like they are developing new programs to create employment. The South Africa i know and the Africa we all know is going down hill, despite all the rich resources we own and claim. Again its the very leaders that we helped fight for this Africa that are putting it to brinks of shame. The pride of Africa will never vanish, and yes we have all the resources but who is controlling them? now its the blacks and they have learnt the ropes of the business, now they are showing greed like no other. I love change and development, but not at the expense of my happiness and destruction of my country. The people everyday they wake up to walk or catch the taxis to work, you look at their faces and you cant help but notice the smiles thats make one love Africa. The people have grown to accept the fact that is, and the reality of what the continent and country has become. The least one can do is make a better world for themselves and maintain peace and harmony. Again the smile is a wonderful and powerful thing. The people of my country continue to open arms and accommodate and share rather spend a minute or two conversing. But the contrast of all this is that the rich are depressed to the core, see them driving in their fancy BMW's and Mercedes Benz, the expressions on their faces is nothing to talk about. Beside all i love my country and continent, with hopes that change will come and all those that live in and on the land of the Big Five will have a better life and benefit from all that Africa has to offer. Again they call her Africa, i call her my home. Be you and i be me

'Explore and adventure

Amidst all the nerve wrecking situations and all mayhem and frustration, guess what? you are a blessed being and you deserve all the beauty that nature has to offer. But there is a catch, yes i said it. The catch is, one has to recognize and be aware of their own special unique elements and qualities but more so tune in and be in sync with your inner self . Never walk blindfolded if you know you are not certain of what you are doing. Trust your instincts and believe in you and never wait for someone else to give a thumbs up. You are your best critic in all you do. If it doesn't feel, look or sound right you already know something is not right. Remember don't hold your guard be adventurous and explore. Be a modern rebel but a rebel with style, respect and love for mankind. Opportuniy

What a great way to end the Monday day , mixing work and work one gets "workpleasure". Thank you Daniel Perlo Bloom for paving and helping me to step my foot on Sirius XM Satellite Radio. Now we are on a roll from here on. In case you are all wondering, i had kept this one for a minute to myself, but i am going to be doing "Inspiration Wednesdays" on Sirius XM. The first drop is on this coming Wednesday, i will copy a link for all. This is one of many projects that are underway. Again this whole time sitting and writing has paid off dividends. Its never about money for the most, but the wisdom and awareness that one shares with the masses. I am simply chuffed, again thank to my brother Daniel Perlo Bloom. Nature

Last night while taking my break at work, this buddy was walking around in circles. I couldn't help but notice that she is dragging something. Seeing that i am not that knowledgeable with insects but can depict and observe. I figured she is caring a shell of eggs with her and she is wanting a place to hide and go about her business of nature.As she was feeling her way around, she walked towards me and under my shoe.There she stayed for something like 2minutes, i then lifted my foot off. But because she had felt the place was safe, guess what? i stayed there for another 10 minutes. The bug still stayed there with no movement at all. Then all of a sudden a thought crossed my mind, that if only it knew that it was now fully exposed.Since i had taken my foot off and left no coverage and shelter. Off course i then made a connection of that and how people live and decide what is right and wrong, safe and harmful. I will be elaborating more on that in a few.

And i don't need to know

"You don't know what i have been through" Thats the statement they say often to justify. Really!! do you know how many people have gone through crazy s**t? and you come and tell me that this lousy excuse that you call rough is something that you want to give as a reason why your life is what it is. This is how people have come to attach and use excuses that bare no resemblance and have nothing to do with what they are doing and where they are. Checks this out, somebody that wakes up and scrambles for breakfast for their kids, has nothing to offer for lunch, kids have to go more than 2 miles to go to school. Bare feet they pace, run, trip over rocks or cross streams and rivers. They endure the bone chilling colds, melting sun, but on they go forward to school. At school the resources are bare to minimal, they attain and absorb as much as they can without even being exposed to media and modern technology. They stay at school the whole entire day to then trace their footprints going back home. They sometimes get home at night fall, play time they get is along the way going home, but later to be cut short by the sun thats setting. They get home the only food available is there just to keep the heart pumping to have them going another day or two till the next meal. And guess what? they do this everyday until one day they achieve the best from all the life's experiences and the education that they sacrificed for. Yes it does pay off. They never owned no Jordan shoes, XBOX or any gadget what so ever. Don't get me wrong neither do i condone fortunate families, we are different and that what makes the world a diverse place. Its more so about how we think that messed up, anyway these under privileged kids still get straight Aces at school. Yet you have someone on the other hand, the government takes care of and has free education, bus picks you up at your door step free of charge, school offers nourishing lunch, modern technology is at your finger tips. They have top of the art designed after school programs or something, again they can stay at school till late why? because the parents can pick them up from school or they can hop on the bus which they ride for free. They come home they sometimes have the luxury of choosing what they want to eat. They might share a room with a sibling but they still own a bed. Anyway this individual/s fails at school dismally or they always abscond and later on in life its the very same person that complains about life not being fare and telling you that"You don't know what i have been through" c'mon!!!. Because you failed yourself or your parents never gave s**t about shaping up your life, that does not give you license to do dumb shit, and reason negatively, hurt people and when you are locked up or when you are destitute, don't f****ng ask for remorse. No! you ain't getting nothing. I feel nothing but empathy, its your life shape it back to what you want it to be. Remember regardless how your family bringing has been, truth is you can learn to change you and only you.I cant even write about that person thats always whining, all because they are not getting things their way. I think this one is for another post. Appreciate where you are and make the most of what you have, be creative and be adventurous, explore whats out there, i am not talking about traveling, i am mean the beauty that mother nature has to offer, the simple things that lighten your world and give you motivation to achieve and succeed. Then off course if you are that privileged of fortunate individual don't get swallowed in that world of fortune because that fortune requires street smarts and knowledge that only mother nature can teach and give you. Live life

I have said this before, if you are kind and have your mind set up straight at understanding what life is, believe you me you will go far. People in general know and can feel if you are legit, thus because its projected through your voice and accented in your vocabulary. Life is easy if you live it on the edge, why? you get to challenge and see things differently let alone enjoy life from a different and gutsy level. But to see and feel all of this you have to be one with the universe. Life is too good not to enjoy the simplest of things, you have one life and only one. Don't let stress, anger, money, and wants be the obstacle to enjoying your life. Be you and i be me.

Dumb ass

I do not write my posts during the day as some might have noticed. But had to change and flip the script for a few. Driving home 20min ago, i am about to make a left turn, a old couple is coming from the opposite direction. Mind you this is a T-Juction stop, off course there will be a Stop sign for cars that want to turn to either my lane or opposite direction. Now Natty is about to turn, but has to wait for the oncoming car to go past. The knuckle head then decides to treat the Pedestrian Crossing as a Stop Sign. Natty waves at the dude to drive, no he is going nowhere, why? he is treating the pedestrian sign as a Stop Sign. Mind you there is no one crossing the street. Now the car thats on the stop sign is a police car. The cop tries to enter the road from his direction, natty continues to block the cop, thus because his sorry ass is not clear to move. Here is how the rest of it goes: Flash lights going all of a sudden Cop: Hey Natty: Sir are you talking to me? First of all Hey is for horses, i said that In mind off course Cop: Yes, why did you not stop at the Stop sign? Natty still speaking through the window of his car, so is the cop. In my head i am thinking fast but very calm as a storm. Natty: What stop sign? Cop: The one right there(he gestures with his head) Natty: there is no stop sign, thats a pedestrian crossing. At this time i can tell that he is going to do or say something to not find rather be embaressed. I am pulling my car and not even worried about the cars that need to turn to the very same lane i am on. He has turned off the flash light at this time, the older gezzer that stopped at the pedestrian crossing is still bloody stopped. So as i am pulling the car off the road, i notice that he knows that he has played a full fool of himself. Because i wanted to go to the sign and read it out loud that it says Pedestrian crossing. Cop: You can go Natty: Excuse me -Cop" i said go. My message is simple just because you work for the law, that does not make you the law. Approach matters, cause if you give Natty a stinky attitude i will politely do the same, but it will be sullen just to make you realize that you are dumb. His pride and the uniform did not save him, i did what was right and because i had the right of way, the other dude decided to do what he did. But in general don't be scared of no Pow-Pows. Off course i drove off and and left the cop still there. This goes for anything in life that because you are given that privilege to be above people, doesn't make you immune from being called out. Don't be scared and don't apologize for honest. Dumb cop was made even more ignorant. Be you and i be me.

Comes at you

A book is never finished either writing or reading until you get to the last chapter and last page as well as last sentence. you are never wrapped up with things that happened years ago, until there was a conclusion to the problem or circumstance. Guess what ? it follows, but again if you are true to yourself you will be forgiving to yourself. Remember i mentioned gaining respect of self, this goes to giving yourself that human license to say to yourself you apologize and you are sorry. Be honest to yourself and the world rather the Universe will accept your sincerity. Be you and i be me

"I am human just like you, only that i think differently"

I am not superman neither am I a genetically engineered living being. I am not perfect I have flaws that drive me against the wall at times if not often. I have learnt to choose and fight battles, I am not immune to negativity or prejudice. I don't have a repellent to drive away fake individuals, I may have a steel amour, but the distracting energies will always loom over. Because of what I write and post, it doesn't mean that obstacles wade off my way. But what it is, is that I have grown to face, tackle, understand, reason,listen, and be aware of my surroundings. But most of all know you who is you? and what do you NEED again NEED not want in life. Embracing the universe and allowing the force of nature that drives one to open up to conducive energies, is the one way to achieve and recognize who and what we are. The flaws and bumps we have should not make us dirty neither should they put us in a box. No!No!No, instead we reflect and make contrasts. If anything don't allow other people's negatives to drive you nuts and off your track. Stay in your lane and know that you are flesh and spirit. You are prone to make a mistake, it might be unintentional or purposely depending what the intention and circumstance is. Respect you and you will gain your own respect. By the time you gain someone else's respect you will have acquired a milestone in life. This journey is one heck of a journey, it's either you fake it till you make it, or you just make it. Because you can lie underneath your skin about who you are and what you feel, doesn't make you any better than me.How long are you going to carry that musk, let alone how much more are you going to disguise yourself and not accept that being the person whom you are is a blessing on its own. Today at work i met a brother who just recently came out form the penitentiary did 30 of his 85 years.Yes he is a luck brother to be out and walking out on the streets again.Freedom indeed.The words that come of his mouth are a true reflection of change, his energy is so contained but fills up the whole entire room. "Recognize People,Places and Things" I will touch base about this later. But the moral and message he was putting across was, simply be you and don't hide your feelings, don't feel pressured to be like some next man, truth is you don't know what kind of madness they are going through. Maybe they sure know how to musk of fake it. Be you and I be me.

Shifters

Yes some people come in your life for a second, minute etc,etc.....but never allow people to come in your world to destabilize and create a storm, minutes later they are blown away. Be strong as a person find the best pillars and trusses this way when the wind blows, you know your house is solid. Some souls are there to shake and test the strength, if you are weak you will hit the ground so fast. This said and done, put on your invincible shining armor, use faith and trust as your ammunition. Ray of light

Never take for granted the light that shines your way, it might be a glimpse of ray, but rest assure it will ignite life out of you. Just like a flower rather a plant that hidden amongst a bush of thorns. The little light and water that it gets and absorbs, it nourishes and grows to beat and defy the odds of surviving the hostile environment. As people, think of how much power we have and how much we can capitalize on opportunities and moments. I envy all those that wake up to continue to be like Pinky and the Brain "take over the world". We are the world and we are the people that live in this world. So there is no reason that we cant regulate ourselves to do the one thing that we need not want, and that is to LIVE LIFE. Don't allow the thorns that are pinning or blocking your way to be the deterrent. Truth be told, when its time to shine no one can stop you. Only you and i can stop ourselves, again if you don't have that will to fight its never going to happen. Be you and i be me!!

Count Them

The way we receive our blessings is in many ways, they might take time to unfold, but for all there is to it is pure joy. Be kind to those that give and show love and respect. Because when mother nature gives back, you will be grinning non-stop. The way to go is to be patient and understand that sometimes slow process does not mean there is no hope. But all there is to it, is all timing and the unknown transition. When all is revealed trust, you will know what time it is and where you are headed. Always count your blessings and be thankful, but for the most keep hope alight. Its possible even though it will take time keep on keeping and keep your head low but move so fast and cautiously. If your antenas are activated you wont worry about looking up. Thats my 5 cents, be you and i be me.

Don't do it

You can take me out from my continent and place me in another corner of the planet. Guess what? my morals, value for mankind and my perceptions will not be changed but above all the person i am will always be the person i always needed to be.Where am i going with this one? Its always a pleasure to come across people who appreciate and value their culture, they speak volumes about who they are and what they believe in. "When in Rome do like the Romans", the question is when the Romans are in china do they do like the Chinese? hmm! ponder that. Lets keep it natty(real), for as long as you have morales, respect and heart you can still be you and you will fit in and blend. Don't change for nobody but be open to accommodate change around you. Unfortunately not everybody will do like wise, in this case you keep opening yourself for more change around you. Be you and i be me.

Zen

Having my phone stolen saved a purpose in many if not few ways. I got to find that serene moment from breaking that auto-pilot mode. Mode from checking checking the phone constantly, My job requires me to be either on the phone on computer every now and then, we forget that there is a thing called Zen(peace of mind).I simple had to snail process this whole process of getting a replacement phone. Besides i really was dragging cause we have been so tuned to thinking that there is no life besides technology. I will be touching base about this dependency to technology and many other things that have held us captive.Be you and i be me!!!

Why?

Where do i start? ok let me put it this way, if you don't have a spine for what you do, and you are just all over and hating on people for the good they do.Guess what? you will never succeed in life. Instead of giving props where they are due, you will choose to try and make yourself better than the person that truly deserves the credit........c'mon looser face it. I wrote about claimers last night and as the day's events unfolded, turns out we sure have a lot of those people around us. But the moral of last night and today's point is, stand your own ground, if you have to go down don't drag other people with you. Accept the fate and keep on going, this is not about Natty but its a general over view of s**t that goes around. Be you and i be me!!

I keep questioning but i get nothing but rebounding question which unfortunately just came out of my thought process.I continue to search and i will find out soon.

Never feel pushed to the corner by people with negative vibes.They will at all times strive to put you down and devalue your presence and existence. But the truth of the matter is that, for as much as they keep nagging and surrounding you with all this negativity, take every thing they bring with them and make it a positive. Truth is that you matter to them hence they keeping coming back. Its unfortunate that we don't always see the good in bad, for every good there is a bad and the same goes for bad. Cruise through your days and enjoy the moments, yes there will be hiccups and bumps. But don't allow that to be the deterrent. I for one i am learning and striving to be the soul that i need to be. The more you attain the wisdom that life gives, the greater the chances that you will come across some knuckleheads that will only want to deviate and take you off your course. Be you and i be me!!
